Why not just a shared album?
It is a fair question. Philippine services like EventPix and PhotoShare let guests scan a QR code and upload photos, from about ₱699 to ₱999 per event. They do that job well.

Why Salo costs more
You are paying for a different kind of album. Salo is priced against a photo booth rental, not against an upload folder. The shot limit and the sealed reveal are the product, and they are why the photos look different.
